Stakeholder Consultation and Project Strategy
We designed a dynamic stakeholder consultation to successfully bring two disparate communities together to agree a way forward on a joint education project. We worked with one of our partner companies to create interesting consultation materials that engaged hard-to-reach stakeholders, and put on a series of events that helped to clarify concerns, dispel myths, and forge bonds to secure benefits across both communities.
School Design Consultancy
Working with a design team comprised of government representatives, school senior leadership, architects, construction managers, key community stakeholders and young people, we developed a school design and building programme to deliver improved services for direct school users as well as the wider community.
International Education and School Design
We supported an international investor group based in Asia to develop a school design and education proposal as a feature of our service to secure a franchise and accreditation agreement with a high profile UK independent school. We cross referenced UK school design standards with locality requirements of the school, including provision for high spec teaching and learning facilities as required of the UK partner school.
Curriculum Development
Working with a regional government (UK Local Authority) team, we developed a proposal for a new curriculum offer. We worked seamlessly with their team to translate concepts and proposals into a tangible curriculum offer. We included original research to underscore the value of their proposal for the students and communities, supporting the drive to ensure ongoing advances in their progressive curriculum.
Market Research and Business Strategy
We undertook a programme of original research on behalf of a client who wanted to understand the implications of an overseas provider entering the UK education market. We delivered a robust research report that helped shape our clients organisational and operational strategic planning in the short run, forming a benchmark against which our client could monitor change within the national education arena over the longer term.
Tendering for Major Government Contracts
We worked side by side with our client to research, write and secure the continuation of their place as a preferred provider on large-scale government school building programme framework. We worked in conjunction with company directors and specialist consultants, building a robust case for the retention of their services as a preferred provider.
Tendering for Government Contracts
We were retained to research and write tenders to secure government community consultation and school design advisory services contracts. We undertook original research inclusive of a competitor analysis to build a strong case to underpin our client’s success.
Securing Funding for Community Project
Working alongside a school design team, we explored the availability of further funding opportunities to leverage additional benefits for the extended community from the existing buildings programme. A feature of our work included helping to advance short and longer range planning for developing extended community services by the school leadership team.

We were retained to research the viability of a proposed business venture by a UK education services company to develop a new service line for schools situated in large urban centres in Asia. We undertook primary and secondary research, confirming in-country business networks and key data as features of our market research and business planning consultancy.

We identified opportunities for a UK company interested in expanding to the US and Canadian markets through a joint venture arrangement. We confirmed interest with an established potential partner company with extensive existing market share across the US and Canada offering complementary products and services. We confirmed a series of meetings in both countries over a two week period, establishing new networks and opportunities for growth.

We provided the research and technical expertise to support an off-shore company adjust the specifications of an existing product and service line to meet UK requirements and market demands. We undertook original research, established networks and confirmed and chaired a series of meetings to initiate their market position within the UK.

We were retained to investigate new opportunities in CSR advisory services by a large consultancy firm. We undertook primary and secondary research to confirm immediate opportunities in CSR consultancy within their existing client list, with a plan for marketing these services on a wider scale over the longer term as an integrated additional offer within their existing service lines for new clients.
CSR Audit and Business Strategy
We provided CSR auditing framework and reporting templates to a large international company interested in highlighting their good corporate practice to new clients in existing, increasingly competitive markets, where responsible business practices would offer a competitive advantage as well as confirming its ongoing corporate responsibility for its stakeholders. We utilised our resource links as an organisational member of the Global Report Initiative (GRI), ensuring our client had the most up-to-date CSR benchmarking frameworks from which to conduct an audit and draft the year-end report.
Original Research
We delivered a series of talks to university post-graduates and undergraduate students on emerging trends and issues in school design. We regularly seek out opportunities to share new ideas, practices, and issues that we encounter during our consultancy within professional and academic events and conferences.
